Donations to the Collection

The American Numismatic Society appreciates and values donations to the permanent collection. If you would like to donate material to the collection, please email curatorial@numismatics.org or call 212-571-4470, ext. 161 to discuss the material prior to sending it to the Society for review. Please do not send packages containing material without first discussing it with the curatorial department. If you are invited send material for evaluation, please note that the process may take up to three months until a final determination is made to accept and accession the material into the permanent collection or to return it to you. Any documentation related to provenance and ownership history should be provided at the time the material is sent for review.
