The ANS is now preparing for the move to its new premises at One Hudson Square in the Spring of 2008.
As part of these preparations it will be necessary to pack the numismatic collections and library.
Consequently, photographic services will be unavailable from March 1st, 2008.
The Curatorial Department of the ANS provides photographic services to collectors and scholars as well as to book, journal, and magazine publishers.
Photo orders are normally completed within four to six weeks from the receipt of payment. Large or custom orders may take longer. At the discretion of the Collections Manager, rush orders can be accommodated for an additional charge.
The rates quoted below are for images suitable for 1:1 reproduction in scholarly journals. All photography is done with digital equipment. Customers interested in very-high resolution photography, or who require that film be used, should contact Dr. Stolyarik to discuss their needs and the charges that will apply.
To place an order, please review the rate schedule below. Then contact the Collections Manager, Dr. Elena Stolyarik (elena@numismatics.org / (212) 571-4470 x1407) with the list of objects to be photographed and how you would like the images delivered (digital file or print). Dr. Stolyarik will provide an invoice that must be prepaid prior to delivery of images.
No photography may be reproduced without prior written permission. The cost of reproduction rights is specified below. Please contact Dr. Stolyarik for further details and requirements.
